Important message regarding the coronavirus / COVID-19

In all parts of the Netherlands extra measures are needed to stop the spread of COVID-19. In accordance with the Dutch government’s policy regarding the coronavirus currently, among others, the Sint-Janskerk, the Old Town Hall, Museum Gouda, the Goudse Schouwburg, Cinema Gouda, De Theaterbakkerheij, So What! and Filmhuis Gouda are closed. The guided tours at the Syrup Waffle Factory have been cancelled until further notice. The Kamphuisen shop is still open. The opening of the Gouda Cheese Experience which was due to take place on 21 March has been postponed. In addition, all cafes and restaurants and sports clubs are closed. All events with over 100 visitors have been cancelled. Locations will see if the cancelled events can be rescheduled to a later date. In view of the above, it has been decided that the office of VVV Gouda in the Goudse Waag will be closed as of today until at least 6 April. VVV Gouda will be available 24/7 via our website and by phone.
