Important message regarding the coronavirus / COVID-19

In all parts of the Netherlands extra measures are neccesary to stop the spread of COVID-19. At this moment, among others, the Sint-Janskerk, the Old Town Hall, Gouda Cheese Experience, Museum Gouda, the Goudse Schouwburg, Cinema Gouda, De Theaterbakkerheij, So What! and Filmhuis Gouda are closed. All parties mentioned, expect to reopen from the 1st of June. The sights will almost all work with online ticket sales and time slots that you need to book in advance. Please check out the websites and social media of the tourist attractions for the exact opening schedule and special measures concerning COVID-19.

Shops in the city center already reopened with the necessary

In addition, all cafes and restaurants will reopen on the 1st of June, including terraces, taking into account the precautionary measures ordered by the government.

Outdoor sports clubs have reopened their doors, please check their websites and social media for the last information. Indoor sports clubs will supposedly remain closed until the 1st of September.

All events have been cancelled until further notice. Locations will see if the cancelled events can be rescheduled to a later date.

VVV Gouda (Tourist Information)
VVV Gouda will open again on May 27, with all provisions of course being made to comply with the corona measures. Opening hours from Wednesday 27 May: Wed to Sun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Until then, the tourist information can be reached 7 days a week via website and telephone.
