Important message regarding the coronavirus / COVID-19

In all parts of the Netherlands extra measures are necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19. Most sights and activities are open for public and work with online ticket sales and time slots that you need to book in advance. Because of the measures, the maximum permitted amount of people has been limited. Please check the websites and social media of the tourist attractions for the exact opening hours and special measures concerning COVID-19.

Please note that wearing a face mask is mandatory in public places.

Shops in the city centre are open with the necessary precautionary measures. You can find most of the shops on this page.

Unfortunately, theatres the Goudse Schouwburg and De Theaterbakkerheij have closed their doors until further notice. The other cultural institutions have been opened. In addition, from October 15, all cafés and restaurants are closed for at least four weeks.
All events have been cancelled until further notice. Locations will check if the cancelled events can be rescheduled.

Check out the websites of the tourist attractions, cafés, restaurants and cultural institutions for the latest update.

Up-to-date information on the corona virus and its measures can be found at
