Gouda canal tour

A beautiful canal tour with the barges Jan Salie or Jan Kordaat through the monumental city centre of Gouda.

The trip follows the historic sailing route through the city, which from the early Middle Ages was the only connection for trade between Flanders and Dutch cities. The skipper accompanies the trip with historical facts and anecdotes. Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we sail slightly shorter trips (1 hour) with fewer people, so that you can keep a safe distance from each other. The guide talks from the deckhouse (does not walk to the front). But by means of an information sheet you can also read all the information. One must be free of complaints. One must also be able to come on board independently.

14 April - 30 October, Thursday to Saturday
May - September, Wednesday - Saturday

Embarkation point:
11.00 hrs: embarkation at the jetty at Oosthaven 13 and disembarkation in the Museumhaven.
12.30 p.m.: Museumhaven, Buurtje 1 and exit at Oosthaven 13.
14.00: embarkation jetty near Oosthaven 13 and disembarkation in the Museumhaven.
15.30: embarkation Museumhaven, Buurtje 1 and disembarkation Oosthaven 13.

Approximately one hour (depending on the passage of the many beautiful bridges)
