Hollandsche IJssel - Always Different

The hiking map offers enough variety for several days of hiking fun. Walkers can enjoy stretching their legs on the Hollandsche IJsselpad. Long-distance runners can, if they wish, complete the path in two sections (37 and 25 km). The path takes you from the river's origin at Het Klaphek in IJsselstein to the water bus stop at the Stormpolder Vloedbos in Krimpen aan den IJssel. Of course, you can also walk shorter sections of the path. For hiking enthusiasts who prefer a smaller loop, there are 11 shorter walking detours on the map. The routes are marked using walking route network nodes, making it easy to stay on the right path.
