Jolanda van Dongen of Betty Blue regularly organises workshops.

These workshops are held in the atmospheric cooking studio. You will go into the kitchen with at least 8 people at a time to prepare traditional recipes. Of course, with the necessary instruction and guidance. Later, you will sit down at the table to enjoy your own cooking.

You can register for a workshop with a group of minimum 8 to maximum 40 people. You can choose from at least the following workshops:

The craftsmen of Gouda

Meet the craftsmen of Gouda in their beautiful food shops by shopping in the centre of Gouda together with the chef. Along the way, there is plenty to see, learn and taste. Then get to work in the kitchen for a 4-course dinner. This workshop lasts 6 hours and costs €75 p.p.

The Green Heart in the kitchen

During this workshop, we get our ingredients directly from the Green Heart: we sail on the Reeuwijk lakes with an eel fisherman, walk through the vegetable garden with a farmer's son and see how the butcher bones half a pig. more information

Cooking the stars from heaven

During this workshop, we will cook a restaurant-worthy 4-course dinner and focus on cooking techniques and product knowledge. We start with an amuse bouche and a glass of bubbles and serve a matching wine with each course. This workshop lasts 6 hours and costs € 95 p.p.

The company outing continues

During this workshop, employees prepare a dinner for their family in their own kitchen. Betty Blue provides the box with ingredients and recipes, matching Spotify playlist, instructional videos and tips and support in an app group. With online drinks hour. more information

Italian cuisine

Making fresh pasta, the recipe for a delicious creamy pesto, saltimbocca, cantuccini biscuits and, of course, tiramisu. This workshop lasts 4 hours and costs € 65 p.p.

Tapas

Caramelising honey chicken feet in the oven, baking prawns, making your own saffron mayonnaise, the recipe for the best sangria! This workshop lasts 4 hours and costs € 65 p.p.

Mexican cuisine

The recipe for the best guacemole with freshly baked tortilla chips, ceviche, make your own corn tortillas and a spicy chocolate mousse. This workshop lasts 4 hours and costs € 65 p.p.

From Ottolenghi's kitchen

The recipes come from several of Ottolenghi's books and include interesting ingredients such as tahini, pomegranate molasses, burrata, harissa. This workshop is vegetarian, lasts 4 hours and costs €75 p.p.

Useful to know

The price of the workshop includes fruit juice, table water and white and red Italian wine.

You can change the number of people up to one week before the workshop. You may cancel the workshop free of charge up to two weeks before the start.
