Art house Gouda

Filmhuis Gouda is the movie theatre of Gouda and surroundings, where you can go seven days a week for quality films from the arthouse circuit.

Our film programme consists of premieres, classics, documentaries, youth films and festival favourites. Every year, we host nearly six hundred film screenings, covering over a hundred different film titles.

Filmhuis Gouda has been around for over thirty years and has been located at Lethmaetstraat 45, in a former school in the Korte Akkeren district, since 1979. The film house has one auditorium with over eighty comfortable seats, a professional digital projector, a 35mm projector and a modern DolbyDigital sound system. Next to the auditorium is a cosy foyer with bar and a reading table with film literature.
