Tourist Run

Guide Andy Koolmees will show you all of THE cosy places in the historic centre of Gouda like typical Dutch narrow streets, courtyards, inner gardens, medieval arches and so on. Because you will be running at a low speed you will be slightly faster than walking. By doing so Andy can take you, for example, to the ancient canals of the city which a lot of other tourists never get to see. Within less than 1 mile of Gouda’s Market Square he will surprise with a view at the Dutch meadows, a cheese farm, an old horse track and even a ferry.

You will only run about 4 miles during which you will see many more of our beloved city. And you won’t get tired because we will stop frequently at the most special spots for some storytelling and to give you time to take pictures. Andy has a lot of friends among entrepreneurs from the local restaurants, so one drink or one healthy snack will be included during the Tourist Run.
